IMG’s Drug and Alcohol Policy was established in 2008. In addition to compulsory pre-employment testing, we conduct the following;

• Random tests
• Reasonable cause
• Post incident
• Periodic
• Pre-event testing

We have invested in training key personnel to perform drug screening (Unit Standard 25458, 25511) and, when required, use The Drug Detection Agency (TDDA) to assist in pre-event and random testing. In addition, we bring the detector drug dogs on site regularly during major events.

As a result of our intensive testing regime, IMG has experienced a reduction in safety incidents and an increasingly engaged workforce. Most importantly, the testing is supported by our employees who wish to work in a drug free environment.
