Our Civil division is fully integrated into our site activities. This includes experienced employees and well equipped workshops which is also complimented by IMG’s Mobile Plant Services.

IMG provides the following Civil solutions;

• Setting out and establishing general plant layout and construction layout lines and levels
• Excavation and backfilling operations including earthworks and working to datum, falls and specific forms and shapes
• Demolition of existing installations and plant, including existing concrete and steel installations
• Fabrication and installation of reinforcing steel for concrete construction work
• Fabrication and installation of a range of concrete formwork. Some of this work is carried out at height and some is unique to the Pulp & Paper industry. Part of this work is reasonably large, involving the installation of more than 300 cu m of ready mixed concrete
• Supply and placement of concrete, which includes placement of special concrete design mixes and includes finishing of concrete to a range of specifications.   Grouting works are also provided
• Timber framed construction, roofing and cladding
• Coordination of critical activities during plant shutdowns ensuring that civil and other works are completed in sufficient time to meet all installation requirements
