IMG partnering with BMINZ in Continuous Improvement Training
IMG are dedicated to Continuous Improvement and as such are rolling out training with NZ owned business improvement company BMINZ Ltd.
The Continuous Improvement training is committed to giving IMG employees skills and learning to be able to improve work areas, put in place efficient and smart processes as well as giving everyone the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications. Successful trainees will achieve the New Zealand Certificate in Competitive Systems and Practices plus additional specialised certificates.
Over the coming months a series of training sessions will be held for the teams on site.
While the sessions are held in a training room they are practical and fun and teams work together to learn and apply new information.
A BMINZ coach will spend time with employees in their work area, assisting us to think of and put in place new ideas and ways of doing things to make it easier, more efficient, safer and smart.
Below is a brief overview of the programme and qualifications.
The first area to start has been at Takanini where we have two groups of ten employees who have now completed their first three training sessions. The next session is scheduled for November 22 and feedback to date has been very positive from those involved.
Tokoroa will kick off their training with a group of 16 IMG employees in November. This will be followed by Glenbrook in December, Kawerau in January and Wiri in February/March.
