IMG and McRaes Global getting ready for next level service.

IMG and McRaes Global have been assisting many essential NZ businesses with their requirements over the past few weeks at Alert Level 4. During the Level 4 Lockdown, our company health and safety systems and processes were successfully audited, at our Head Office premises, by MPI.

As of Tuesday the 28th of April we will be operating under Alert Level 3 restrictions, and we want to continue to bring our customers a level of robustness with our safety process.

Our team are here and ready to assist our customers get their machines back up and running with minimal headache. Because businesses are unable to provide a service where there is close physical contact, IMG have created a few barriers between our workshops and your staff but that will not stop our teams being able to support wherever possible.

  • We have a team of engineers on call that can travel to site whenever needed
  • All visitors to site must have made a prior appointment and have complete the IMG Alert Level 3 Register and the Contractor Health Check and Induction Declaration before they enter CLICK HERE
  • We have set up a IMG COVID-19 Alert Level 3 Protocol that can be viewed HERE
  • We have created customer pick up and drop off points so that goods can flow easily, and we have access to all the courier stations
  • We have appointed workshop COVID-19 Controllers at each site to monitor how we operate
  • Though some of our team members will be working remotely, the majority of our team is available on email, mobile and via video, online or web conferencing services (WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype and Zoom). Please phone prior to your requirements on 0800 182 222 or 0800 255 525 and our team members will assist you with your needs.

Important notice during lock down alert levels.

IMG and McRaes Global have been assisting many essential NZ businesses with their requirements over the past few weeks at Alert Level 4. During the Level 4 Lockdown, our company health and safety systems and processes were successfully audited, at our Head Office premises, by MPI.

As of Tuesday the 28th of April, we will be operating under Alert Level 3 restrictions, and we want to continue to bring our customers a level of robustness with our health and safety process.

Our aim is to continue to keep our staff, and the people that we deal with, safe. Predictably, we have seen an increase in the usage of PPE during Level 4 to ensure IMG meets the Ministry of Health guidelines.

Combined with increased consumption of PPE, there has been a significant increase in costs from our safety suppliers as they struggle to meet demand. To partially cover the resulting increase, we will include a COVID19 surcharge onto our consumable costs of 2%.

This will last as long as the requirements remain in place and/or the costs come back down from our suppliers. IMG and McRaes Global will continue to service your needs throughout this period, to ensure that your operations are up and running again.

Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) stamp of approval for McRaes Global and IMG during Alert Levels.

MPI accepted our request to work during Alert Level 4, all teams were briefed about the standards and practices were put in place to ensure the safety of all involved. We had teams in Te Puke constructing cranes and putting in rails, teams out at the port of Auckland, the Davenport Naval base, Rotoworo and on-site at Takanini, East Tamaki and Kinleith.

The Ministry of Primary Industries were impressed with the standards and practices that were put in place by McRaes Global and IMG. Audit forms were completed by the supervisors and managers on various sites, this showed we were monitoring and reviewing what we were doing. Where we encountered a concern, we shared the findings and found suitable solutions to correct with CQI process in place. This process will be extended in Level 3 for possible audits.

The process that is in place and the commitment from the teams around the sites have put us in good stead for the next few weeks with our clients who are aware of what we have achieved so far in this very different way of working.
