FEATURED PROJECTS
Project Atom
The Project Atom scope was to install client supplied equipment. IMG had a difficult working environment in the middle of a fully operational steel-making plant (brown-field) where complex lifts were required to install heavy, sensitive equipment at height and under gantry crane beams.
Taharoa
New Zealand Steel commissioned IMG to install an extension to the current Dry Sand Modules at their Taharoa Mine Site. This phase was two modules contained in one super structure. The scope of the project was to design and install all the process equipment and commission a company to supply the super structure to accommodate the process.
TOPP1
This installation included all mechanical plant and heat exchangers. The project bid was based on install and commission, developing schedules, project plans, quality document control, innovative methodology of the work along with stringent quality control processes.
Radiation Shaft
The Project was to plan and execute the removal and reinstallation of a water cooled Radiation Shaft in a very tight shutdown period. This lift won the National Heavy Lift Award 2010.
